Far away is in your reach
Creative idea
We often think of distance as something that separates us from the places we want to experience. A different continent, a new culture, a spontaneous trip across the border - far away can feel like a lot of planning, uncertainty and things to figure out first. But what if distance was not the thing standing between us and our next experience? Our creative idea makes the world feel physically closer by turning distance into something you can literally hold right in your hands. The slogan “Far away is in your reach” plays on the double meaning of reach: a destination can be geographically far away, yet still feel accessible and within reach. Mastercard helps remove the uncertainty that can come with paying abroad - from unfamiliar currencies and payment habits to wondering whether your card will work. This means less time thinking about payment and more time thinking about where to go next. The visual language is bold and playful, rather than showing a traditional travel destination, we turn the world itself into an object that can be held, connected and reached for. Two worlds, represented by the iconic Mastercard circles, are brought together by a simple visual connection, making the distance between them feel almost tangible, yet surprisingly small. The concept shifts the focus from the mechanics of payment to what payment enables: the freedom to go further, discover somewhere new and feel confident doing it. Because when payment becomes effortless, far away starts feeling much closer.
