WORLD. ONE TAP AWAY.
Creative idea
WORLD. ONE TAP AWAY. Travel is often imagined as a journey from one destination to another. But the most exciting part can happen before you even leave: the moment you decide to go. What if the world itself could look like a departure board, with experiences waiting to be chosen? Lets turn familiar airport departure board into a board of possibilities. Instead of flights, it lists the moments people want to experience: MIDNIGHT IN PARIS? STREET FOOD IN BANGKOK? YOUR NEXT CONCERT? Each one has the same status: ONE TAP AWAY. And the gate? Mastercard. The idea makes the payment almost disappear. Mastercard is not presented as the destination or the reason to travel, but as the simple gateway between wanting something and experiencing it. The question mark is intentional. These are not fixed itineraries. They are invitations. A spontaneous decision can turn a normal day into a night in Paris, a concert in another country or a new experience somewhere unfamiliar. To bring the idea into the real world, Mastercard could take over an actual airport gate for a limited campaign period. A branded “Mastercard Gate” would turn the visual metaphor into a physical experience. The system can scale globally because the destinations can change while the structure stays the same. Paris, Bangkok, Barcelona, a festival, a football match or simply “GETTING LOST SOMEWHERE NEW?” — every experience can become a departure. The result is a simple visual idea that connects Mastercard’s payment technology with what happens after the tap: movement, discovery and the freedom to say yes.
