When we read the brief for this year's edition of Young Drummers, we talked about different ways in which we can represent Slovenian cultural richness. After many hours and a long consideration, we have decided to choose an art technique that we have all done during our years in primary school - the collage. The collage enabled us to create our own masterpiece, combining robust edges of cut-out buildings, figures, persons, and streets with a soft question we all dare to think about when going on a date with a loved one: 'Are you ready to fall in love?'. With the collage, we wanted to present the richness of Slovenian culture, art, history, and that they are not unambiguous. Everyone can find something for their taste - it does not matter if you are a history lover, fan of contemporary art, techno, ballet, or an architecture enthusiast. Consequently, we planned the collage to show the diversity, different ways to see the attractions and learn about Slovenian culture, and how easy it is to see it all in a day because of the unique size of our country. Thus, there are ballet dancers and Umek, Kofetarica and Tartini, the Noordung Centre and Predjama Castle, Kurent and Metelkova, the street and fountain of Kranj, the bell tower and square of Koper, and the chairs of the famous Slovenian designer and architect Niko Kralj. The legend below the collage completes the poster and invites the observer on a date with numerous Slovenian masterpieces.
