Riccardo Fregoso is Executive Creative Director, President Creative at McCann WorldGroup France. An European citizen, both French and Italian, he has more than 10 years of experience as a creative in the best international groups. He’s a passionate and visionary leader.

His philosophical background has given him a radical, analytical way of thinking, along with a strong passion for popular culture, emerging technologies, language, and design trends.

After starting at BETC, Riccardo spent 4 years in the TBWA Group, and 2 at Ogilvy Paris, working on brands such as Absolut, BMW, Martell, Nissan Infiniti, McDonald’s, Mondelez, Deezer, Tiffany, Netflix, and Coca Cola.

As President of the Creative Council of McCann WorldGroup France, Riccardo coordinates the creative leaders of the different entities of the group, including McCann Paris, MRM (Digital), Weber Shandwick France (PR), FutureBrand (Design) and McCann Health, to develop the creative excellence of each agency, throughout synergies and multi-disciplinary projects.

As Executive Creative Director of McCann Paris, Riccardo’s mission is to boost the creative power of the agency, by preparing the company, and its approach, to meet the technological and social challenges of the 21st century.

Riccardo has been on juries at International and national award shows such as the Eurobest, New York Festival, LIA and the French Grand Prix Strategies of Advertising. He has won more than 50 international awards, including 11 Cannes Lions, two Eurobest Grand Prix, an Eurobest Glass award, and many more from the D&AD, Webby, Clio, LIA, One Show, Epica and Art Directors Club. With Riccardo’s guidance, McCann Paris has climbed to 3rd place in the Gunn Report’s 2016 rankings of all agencies in France. In 2017, McCann Paris has become 2nd best agency at Effie Awards in France. In 2018, McCann Paris has won the global account for Vichy, the iconic cosmetic brand of L’Oréal Paris, and made it to the top 7 French agencies at Cannes Lions.
