Barbara Evans is Managing Partner and responsible for "Strategy & International" within the Mediaplus Group Board. As a thought leader for future consumer expectations, media consumption and customer journeys, she leads a seamlessly integrated and diversified team of experts with different competencies and takes care of infrastructure, investments, talent, integration and marketing approaches in an international context.
After completing her studies in "International Business with Modern Languages" at Aston University in Birmingham and the University of Bayreuth, Barbara Evans began her professional career at Media Center in Frankfurt. She worked in media coordination for various international companies at the World Wide Media Group in London before moving to Initiative Media in Hamburg. After further stations at GFMO.OMD in Hamburg and Allianz in Munich (responsibility for global media budget of international campaigns & local implementation), she started at the House of Communication of the Serviceplan Group in Munich in March 2007. Initially, she was responsible for clients such as Saturn, MINI, Adler and DKV as Head of Communications Consulting, and in 2010 she initiated a complete new division at Mediaplus in the field of Neuromarketing.
After holding positions as Managing Director of the Strategic Insights department at Mediaplus and Managing Director of the newly founded agency Facit Media Efficiency, which focused on behavioural aspects of brands, messages, media environments and consumers. Barbara Evans was promoted to Managing Director at the Mediaplus Group in March 2017.
