With entries in the main competition now closed, the Golden Drum juries are set to begin their work tomorrow. The Festival, recognised as one of the most important benchmarks of creativity in the region and beyond, has this year received submissions from 33 different countries – more than last year. The highest number of entries come from Ukraine, Italy, Romania, Poland, and Slovakia, while the Festival’s global reach is further confirmed in Game Changer group by work arriving from Costa Rica, India, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

Competition Directors Miha Bevc and Špela Levičnik shared their excitement:

“The drums are beating again – calling the region’s boldest ideas to the stage. This year’s entries once again showcase the creative strength of our region and beyond.”

Several categories have seen notable growth, including Billboards, Packaging Design, Integrated – Profit, and Excellence in Media. The One-Channel and Omni-Channel sections once again received the highest number of entries, underlining their central role in today’s creative landscape.
Golden Drum continues to be a trusted creative benchmark, featuring on the WARC Ranking, The Drum, and AdForum, with agencies from across the globe recognising its value and prestige.

“Now it’s time for our juries to dive into the work and spotlight the very best creative thinking in the region. We look forward to celebrating this year’s winners on 14 October at the Awards Show in Portorož,” Bevc and Levičnik added.
