With our greatest pleasure we announce the next round of speakers joining Golden Drum from 13 to 15 October 2021! Fernando Machado, Chief Marketing Officer at Activision Blizzard from USA, Karolina Galácz, Creative Director at DDB Budapest from Hungary and Thomas Kolster, Founder and Creative Director at Goodvertising from Denmark will be taking the virtual stage and sharing their views and ideas for Re:Starting the Future!

Fernando Machado is a global marketer with a passion for growing brands and businesses. With more than 160 Lions in Cannes, 24 D&AD Yellow Pencils, 1 D&AD Black Pencil, and 2 Grand Effies in North America, Fernando is known for pushing the creative boundaries to drive business growth.

After a long and successful career at Unilever and Restaurant Brands International, Fernando took the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Activision Blizzard, one of the largest game companies in the world developing and publishing franchises like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Diablo, Candy Crush...

Karolina Galácz helped Ogilvy, then Y&R, and recently, DDB all become the most creative agencies in Hungary for several years in a row. With her leadership, the DDB team has won accolades from Cannes Lions, New York Festivals and London International in the last 3 years, along with a cool first for Hungary: the cover of Adweek for a piece for McDonald’s Hungary. In 2019, she was the winner of the bursary competition for the Berlin School of Creative Leadership’s Cannes Creative Leadership Programme.

Thomas Kolster is a marketing activist on a mission to make business put people and planet first. As a seasoned branding and sustainability professional of more than 18 years’ standing, he’s advised Fortune 500 companies, small start-ups, governments, agencies, and non-profits. He’s the founder of the global Goodvertising movement that’s inspired a shift for the better in advertising. He’s also the author of two books: ‘Goodvertising’ (Thames & Hudson 2012) and ‘The Hero Trap’ (2020).

He’s an internationally recognised keynote speaker and a columnist for the Guardian, Adweek, The Drum. As a passionate entrepreneur and change agent he’s launched several impact platforms like Cph:Change and Wheregoodgrows.
