In an era of high technology and political instability, it is more important than ever to be present, to socialize, and to unite with like-minded people. Planica offers an incredible stage where, for 8 unforgettable seconds, everyone is united by 1 breathtaking moment. Why eight seconds, you ask? That’s the approximate time a ski jumper spends soaring through the sky, while the whole crowd holds its breath in shared excitement. The essence of this work is that everyone, regardless of race, age, or nationality, becomes the same through one simple act: holding their breath in excitement and anticipation of the moment. Sport truly connects people. Hold your breath for eight seconds, then celebrate forever. Unity by Planica! How can we inspire people to experience Planica as more than just a sports event? By presenting it as a true winter sports festival. Winter often feels a little dark and cold, with few celebrations after Christmas. Planica is the perfect opportunity to change that. It’s not only about ski jumping, it’s about atmosphere, joy, and the unique energy that brings people together. Beyond the breathtaking jumps, Planica offers music, culture, food, and unforgettable moments of connection.
