According to the newest statistics, the average screen time of Gen Z is over 9 hours per day (1). Young people are experiencing the world around them through the small device in their hands. They are looking down on their phones so much that they started to have symptoms of the so-called “tech neck” or “text neck” (2) with hundreds of users on the internet searching for ways to relieve the tension. But staring at their phones doesn’t affect them only physically. There is something in the air regarding their social life. The consequences of constantly being on social media that are anything but social, are taking a toll on their bonds. Everyone is focused more on the content they will post for their close friends on Instagram, neglecting those who are truly close to them. With our poster invitation we are showing that Planica leaves you no other choice than to look up. Cause when there are people flying? No screen beats that scene. Scene which you want to share with your close ones and enjoy the moment. And that’s how we want to invite them to the Ski Jumping World Cup Finals – with a simple yet all-saying claim: “A moment shared, not posted. Priceless.” So heads up, there is Ski Jumping World Cup Finals in Planica 2026 where you can experience the moments of true togetherness.
