Creative idea

From a distance, ski jumpers seem like superhumans. Untouchable, almost defying gravity with every leap. Yet behind the spectacle lies a universal truth: they do what all of us do in our everyday lives sometimes. They jump. We all jump headfirst into the unknown. Into a new relationship, a first job, or simply into a new adventure across the world. Sometimes we jump with fear, sometimes with excitement, but always with courage. The same courage of a ski jumper. This is where the idea of our posters begins. We created a visual bridge between ski flying and everyday life. Ordinary people are shown in the iconic position of a ski jumper, but instead of soaring above snowy hills, they are leaping into universal moments, into a lecture hall on their first day at university, into a sea of hearts when falling in love, or into a suitcase-packed airport ready for adventure. The ski jump becomes a metaphor for the risks and rewards of living boldly. Planica, home of the Ski Flying World Cup, is not only about records or medals. It is a place where the courage of athletes becomes an inspiration for all. Where Domen Prevc’s 254.5-meter flight pushes us to dream bigger. Where Anže Lanišek’s season finale victory reminds us that risks are worth taking. Where Daniel Tschofenig’s overall triumph shows us that every leap can write a new personal story. Concept: To live is to jump. Each of us has the power to leap headfirst into something new, something that feels impossible at first but turns out to be truly priceless. That is why Mastercard invites you to Planica. Not only to witness breathtaking jumps, but to feel the collective energy, the inclusivity, and the belonging of a global community where everyone jumps together: athletes and audiences, dreamers and doers, each in their own way.
