Too weird
Creative idea
Ski flying in Planica is one of the strangest, most extraordinary sports in the world. Humans dressed in slim aerodynamic suits launch themselves down a ramp, accelerate to 100 km/h, fly through the sky for more than 250 metres, and—most of the time—land safely on their feet. It makes little rational sense: no protective cage, no engine, no wings. Just human courage, gravity, and the belief that limits can be pushed. It’s absurd. It’s weird. And yet it is celebrated by tens of thousands of people every March, turning a small valley in Slovenia into a global festival of flight. That absurdity is exactly why this idea works. Because many people feel “weird” in their everyday lives—because of a disability, a difference, or simply not fitting into expectations. For them, the world can feel like it wasn’t built for their shape. But when we pair the surreal nature of ski flying with the universal feeling of being different, we flip the perspective: in Planica, weirdness is not something to hide. It is normal. It is the reason the crowd gathers. It is what makes the experience Priceless. Our poster takes this paradox and turns it into an invitation. It calls on everyone—especially those who often feel out of place—to join a celebration where belonging is defined not by blending in, but by embracing what makes us unique. Planica proves that the impossible can be made routine and the strange can be beautiful. And because in Planica humans literally break the limits of physics, the message becomes clear: Sky is the limit—for all of us.
