Michal Belej has worked in marketing for more than 10 years. He started his career as marketer in finance sector, but in 2013 he decided to switch from marketing department to an advertising agency. He began as a copywriter junior in Slovak advertising agency Istropolitana Ogilvy, where he currently holds the position of Associate Creative Director.
His works have been awarded at creative award festivals in Slovakia and Czech Republic and also acknowledged for effectiveness at the Effie. In addition to commercial clients, he has also worked for non-profit organizations that focus on humanitarian aid, equal opportunities, or public policy.
Also, he is active as a blogger and writer. In 2017 he published a book that experiments with digital literature and wrote a theatre play about extremism.
