Golden Drum Festival Competition with entries from 24 countries
Golden Drum’s call for entries is closed. The competition has accepted round 1000 entries, most of which are coming from Ukraine, followed by Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. As much as two thirds of entries this year are made by independent agencies. The decisions of the 55 jurors will be publicly announced during the Golden Drum Awards Show Powered by Mastercard on 23 September in Rovinj, Croatia. The Festival’s program that will take place at the Weekend Media Festival is already available. The Golden Drum Festival is inspired with the theme REBUILDING
CONNECTI ON and aspires to reunite, reconnect, and reignite creativity.
Golden Drum Competition 2022 with two thirds of entries by independent agencies
The 28th Golden Drum competition is closed. 55 jurors have started with their work.
Advertisers, agencies and other marketing communications professionals from 24 different countries have entered their best works in four diverse sections: One-Channel Drum, Omni-Channel Drum, Craft Drum, Creative Business Excellence Drum and a special All Juries Section.
The five Juries are led by outstanding professionals from all around the globe: Anselmo Ramos, Co-Founder and Creative Chairman, GUT, Buenos Aires, Miami, São Paulo, Toronto and Mexico City, Johnny Tan, Former Executive Creative Director, 72andSunny, Asia Pacific, Sandra Planeta, Creative Director and Founder, Planeta Design, Sweden, and Danielle Crook-Davies, Vice President of Marketing, Netflix, EMEA.
The highlight of the 28th Golden Drum Competition will be the special gala event, honouring great creativity and announcing the best of the best. We will meet the winner of the Young Drummers Competition Powered by Slovenian Tourist Board and announce the winners of the Brand Grand Prix, Adriatic Agency of the Year Powered by Zavarovalnica Triglav, the Independent Agency of the Year, the Agency of the Year, this year for the first time also the Production Agency of the Year and the Digital Agency of the Year – both Powered by Coca-Cola, the Creative Director of the Year Powered by Elan, the Network of the Year and furthermore welcome the new member of the Golden Drum Hall of Fame.
The Golden Drum Awards Show Powered by Mastercard will celebrate the winners on September 23 at 20.30.

»Golden Drum is here and I truly believe it will be another excellent overview over past year projects. So far, we have encountered more entries in the One-Channel section in comparison to last year where Multi-channel section prevailed. We are glad that Section Craft is becoming stronger, especially in the group A: Industry Craft. Not surprisingly also the number of entries in the group Social Good has increased. Young Drummers Competition welcomes creative solutions from 15 countries
This year’s challenge to design the best and most creative poster or video on the topic ῝Hey you, become the future of tourism!῎ was accepted by creative talents from 15 countries.
The aim of the competition, supported by Slovenian Tourist Board, is to find creative solutions showing that working in tourism is interesting and offers countless opportunities for growth, international exchanges, and life experiences.
The annual Young Drummers Competition enables opportunities for creatives under 30 from all over the world to show their creativity, earn a spotlight on the Golden Drum Awards Show stage and win a 1,000 EUR prize.
The best creative solution will be chosen by a five members jury led by Ghada Wali, the multiple-award-winning designer who developed an Arabic typeface that was chosen as one of the best 100 graphic design pieces in the world by the Society of Typographic Arts in Chicago.
The best creative solution will be announced during the Golden Drum Awards Show Powered by Mastercard on September 23 at 20.30.
